About DocuBible

What is DocuBible?

DocuBible is a Bible study companion built around your own notes. You read a chapter and write beside the verses, so the next time you open that passage, what you thought about it is already there.

Notes, verse by verse

Every verse can hold a note. A note can also cover a run of verses or several passages at once, and the same notes can be read three ways: beside the verse, as one running document for a whole book, or as a whole notebook.

When a verse raises something you don't understand yet, mark it as a question. Answer it later, when you do.

Themes and connections

Tag a verse with a theme, such as Covenant or Shepherd, and it joins every other verse you've tagged the same way. Link a note to another passage and the two become a connection.

Over time the Study page gathers the themes and connections you've made across the whole Bible, and a chart draws them so you can see which books speak to each other.

Word Study

Word Study shows the Hebrew or Greek behind an English word, what it means, and where else it appears.

Translations

You can read all 14 translations without an account, including the NIV, NASB, Amplified, NLT and ESV, and search six of them (BSB, KJV, WEB, ASV, BBE and YLT) across the whole Bible. Notes, highlights and themes need an account, and they stay with you on your phone and your computer.

Who makes it

DocuBible is made by one person who wanted a better way to keep Bible notes. If something is wrong or missing, say so on the Contact page.
